OK, before we move ahead, let me ask you one question.

Which cleanroom do you need? 

Small-sized cleanroom, also called modular cleanroom. It’s mainly for small area which requires very clean air,  from ISO 7 up to ISO 5( In most of cases, only air cleanliness is controlled),  the clearnoom is normally less than 100 square meter.

• A Project not a Product

We always told our customers “You are not buying a product, you are constructing a project? How can we tell you a price like we did for a product”.

(Of course If you are buying our small-sized modular cleanroom, then that’s another case, as it’s a product and can be installed by customers themselves as per our manual)    So in most cases, the next question will be “What is the budgetary cost will my cleanroom?

Even though we quote a product, we all know that different models and functions means different price, let alone a project.

As we know, to build a cleanroom is a big systematic project, it covers HVAC system, structure system, electric system, auto-control system, flooring, etc. All sub-systems have hundreds of components, accessories or materials.  All these factors will affect the final cost of a cleanroom.

• Factors influencing Cleanroom Cost

Under the condition of same area of cleanroom, the following factors will influence cleanroom cost.

1. Cleanroom Application: Comparatively speaking, Pharmaceutical cleanroom cost will be the most expensive
2. Air Cleanliness Class:     The higher air cleanliness class, the higher the cost
3. Air Change Rate：  The higher air change rate, the more airflow is required
4. Air temperature and humidity, different pressure
5. Cleanroom Configuration: auto-control and display, different material level

• Cost after Design

So, let’s come back to the point. Is it possible to give customer a budgetary cost of a cleanroom? Of course it’s possible. But still it’s based on a basic design. Remember! Without a design, a budgetary cost means nothing, even worse than nothing. The more detailed design can be given, the more accurate a cleanroom cost will be, in other words,

A budgetary cost is based on a basic design; an accurate cost is based on a detail design. 

So, If you want to know how much your cleanroom will cost?  You should ask yourself first “Do I have cleanroom design?”

According to work process, a cleanroom design is classified into three stages: conceptual design, basic design and detail design.
